The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, May 12, 2009, with the
following members present: Robert L. Thomas, David S. Keller and Robert G.
Ziobrowski. Chairman Thomas presided and after calling the meeting to order, and the
Pledge of Allegiance proceeded with the business of the day.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by David S. Keller; unanimously
approved to adopt the agenda.
The minutes of May 5, 2009 and May 7, 2009 meetings were read. These will be
approved and signed on Thursday, May 14, 2009
The Board reviewed Agreements and Contracts. These will be approved and
signed on Thursday, May 14, 2009.
The Board reviewed Aging matters. On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski;
seconded by David S. Keller; unanimously approved the Agreement between the County
of Franklin and The Chambersburg Massage Therapy Clinic to provide 1-2 licensed
massage therapist fora 10 minute therapeutic chair massage to interested participants
at a Family Caregiver event being held on May 12th at a cost of $280.00.
The Board met with the County Solicitor to review related matters.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:51 a.m. with a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski;
seconded by David S. Keller.
The Board reconvened at 2:45 p.m.
The Board reviewed Transportation matters. On a motion by Robert G.
Ziobrowski; seconded by David S. Keller; unanimously approved for the Chairman of the
Board to execute the Supplemental Agreement between the County of Franklin and
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for a grant in the amount of $32,242.00 for
Shared-Ride trips.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:47 p.m. with a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski;
seconded by David S. Keller.
