HomeMy WebLinkAboutLast Will and Testiment 53 -31.6 Last dill and Testament. j✓/ I,i .e'race ?ogal,of the borough of Chambersburg,County of (rani lin and State of Peruesylvania,beine of sound mind,memory,understanding and body,do hereby make,publish and declare this as my Last dill and Testament, hereby revoking and declaring null and void any and all other dills and Testaments or writings in the nature tnereofmade by me at any time heretofore. 1. 'order and direct the payment of all my just debts and funeral expenses,by my "Executor hereinafter so armed, as soon as may be conveniently done after my death. 2. I order and direct my Executor hereinafter named to expend the sum of Two Hundred and Fifty (4250.00.)Dollars for the purpose of having Two Hundred and fifty Masses said jointly for the repose of my soul and that of my husband John li.Fogal;this amount shall be free of any inheritance tax whatsoever,ssidi tax being derived from my Estate. 3. I give and bequeath to the Cemetery Association of Corpus Christi Church of Chambe3rsburg,Pennsylvania the sum of One Hundred and Twenty-five(4125.00.). Dollars for Perpetual Care of my burial lot in said Cemetery,and also for the Perpetual Care of the burial lot of Mrs.lagdalena Shank in said Cemetery. This bequest,likewise,shall be made in the sum indicated above,the inheritance tax being derived from my Estate. 4. I give and Bequeath to the Sisters of ut.Joseph,Chambersburg Penna.the sum of One Hundred (4100.00.) Dollars to be used by the said sisters of St.Joseph for any purpose whatsoever connected with their Chambersburg residence. Any inheritance tax on this iten shall be paid from my Estate,leaving the bequest intact. The receipt of the eiother Juperior of said Convent shall be sufficient warrant for my Executor. 5. I give and bequeath to the Corpus Christi Church of Chambersburg ,Penna.the sum of One Hundred(e100.00.jDollars the same to be used by the Pastor in charge for any worthy Church purpose he may so designate;the receipt of the pastor shall be sufficient warrant for the Executor,and any inheritance tax on this bequeat shall be paid out of the gera al Estate. 6. 1 give and bequeath to the Society for the Propagation of the Faith at P.O.Box 323,Carlisle,Penna the sum of Seventy—five(j75.00.)Dollars,the same to be used for a Perpetual Membership for myself in said Society,and the inheritance tax in this case shall liteewis e be derived from my Estate. A receipt from the Director of said society shall be sufficient warrant for my Executer. 7. I hereby direct that my Executor shall,in public or private sale,sell all my personal and real estate and coeuine receipts of same in one sum with my liquid assets; after the payments of the sums mentioned in 2,3,4, 5,and 6,the following distribution is to be made of the balanceof r y Estate, to wit: A.The entire sum of said balance shall be placed on interest with the Society of the Propagation of the Faith at e.O.Box 323,Carlisle,penna,and the interest shall be paid to iirsalerna Fogal Kimple during the time of her married life. I.If the said Lrs.Erra Fogel wimple becomes a widow,then she shall be paid one half of this Estate fund outright, the other half of the Estate Fund shall be left on interest with above Society for the Propagation of the Faith and the interest paid to Virs.Emma Fogel Kimple until her death,after which event,the half Estate fund shall be given to the Bishop of the Diocese of Harrisburg for the education of priests for the Diocese of Harrisburg. C.In the event of Mrs.l;mrra Hogal liimple becoming decedent before her husband,llr.Fred Kimple,the entire Estate Finds invested with the Society for the Propagation of the Faith shall be divided thus and proper payment made-one half of such Funds shall be giver to the Jesuit Mission Fund of the Province of Ilaryland,to enroll Mr.dohn Fogal and me,his wife,in the Perpetual Purgatorial IMenbership;the funds to be used by the Mission Fund for their various purposes;the other half shall be paid to the sh.ar, of Harrisburg for the education of priests of the Diocese of Harrisburg., I hereby authorize my Executor to rnake,deliver and execute any Deeds pursuant to my property 8.
